Offense5

We need to be able to identify the defense. Many teams will play 4 defenders. 3 will mark our offensive players and the 4th is the sweeper. The sweeper will play 10-15 yards back and cover a tremendous amount of territory. He is usually their best defender. The way to neutralize a sweeper is by:
1) Putting our center forward high on him. Our center forward bodys for position and will neutralize the sweeper's ability to cover the field.
2) Note how our R forward checks to the ball. His defender will follow him creating an empty space to attack.
